Courses Offered at Pacific Northwest Raptors Ltd
Tourist Attraction - Birds of Prey Cente, Flying Demonstrations & Bird Watching Tour - Family Fun
Duncan, Vancouver Island, BC |
From a short, 15-minute hawk walk, through to tailored advanced courses, PNWR can help you learn about the handling, care, and management of raptors. Raptors are not suitable as pets. They are however magnificent animals and we feel privileged to work with them and be close to them. We like to share this experience with other raptor enthusiasts.
With the shorter courses, the goal is to give you a chance to get to know a little more about the birds, get up close to them, and get a glimpse of what it is like to work with the birds. On longer courses we aim to assist raptor technicians, rehabilitators, aspiring falconers, and other raptor specialists to be informed, conscientious and capable raptor handlers.
Be sure to bring your camera!
