From a short, 15-minute hawk walk, through to tailored advanced courses, Pacific Northwest Raptors can help you learn about the handling, care, and management of raptors. Raptors are not suitable as pets. They are however, magnificent animals and the staff at Pacific Northwest Raptors feels privileged to work with them and be close to them. At Pacific Northwest Raptors we like to share this experience with other raptor enthusiasts.
All courses (with the exception of hawk walks, owl prowls and Kookaburra
Encounters) must be booked in advance! Please call or email to ensure availability.
For groups larger than 4, or specialized groups, we can tailed courses to your requirements. Please enquire for specifics. See Courses Page for more details and opportunites to experience a thrilling encounter with a remarkable animal.
Our unigue educational flying demonstrations showcase the incredible flight skills of the raptors that live at Pacific Northwest Raptors. Watch a Bald Eagle as he soars overhead, only to descend to a perch beside the audience. Witness a red-tailed hawk make the catch as he shows off his hunting skills. Feel the breeze as an owl silently glides over your heads and be thrilled as a falcon buzzes past you, demonstrating his amazing aerial agility.
This is the best attraction for you and your family on Vancouver Island. We are sure that will leave here satisfied, educated and inspired.
